Dr. Stacy Klippenstein

Stacy Klippenstein, Ed.D. is the President of the 老司机导航, serving a thriving region that includes Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson and the surrounding rural areas. With 45,000 students each year, CSN is the largest community college in the state.

鈥淒r. Klip鈥 has more than 30 years of experience in higher education leadership 鈥 with a special emphasis on enhancing the experience for students. He takes over an institution with a rising graduation rate that serves as a pipeline to universities, business, industry, and the region鈥檚 diverse and growing workforce. 

Before joining CSN in 2025, Dr. Klippenstein had been a president of a community college for 12 years, most recently serving as the president of Mohave College in Arizona. and previously at Miles Community College in Montana.  Prior to his time as a college president, Dr. Klippenstein worked at universities and served in various leadership roles that focused on student success and enrollment management. 

Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a commitment to supporting a diverse student population and inclusionary learning and working environments. He has taught courses on first-year experience, student leadership, psychology, and graduate classes on student development theory and higher education finance and budgeting.

Dr. Klippenstein believes in cultivating teams through shared governance that embrace an innovative spirit and foster a community of thinkers and collaborators. He is passionate about helping students attain degrees as well as workforce-ready credentials and certificates. Committed to being a visible presence on campus and in the community, he leads with the conviction that postsecondary education can transform lives and the communities served. He is known for his strong commitment to community engagement and developing necessary workforce partners to enhance the economic vitality of all communities, both rural and urban.

He earned a bachelor鈥檚 and master鈥檚 degree in education from Eastern Montana College (now Montana State University Billings) and a doctorate in higher education leadership from Nova Southeastern University.

Dr. Klippenstein is married and has two grown sons. He enjoys the outdoors, golfing, traveling with his wife, concerts, and spending quality time with friends and family.
